How May Days Does a Debtor Have to Respond to A Objection to Plan Confirmation Under Chapter 13?

Feb. 22, 2016

A creditor has a deadline of 7 days before the 341 hearing to file an objection to the plan filed by the Debtor. The Debtor has a deadline of 14 days before the confirmation hearing to respond to the objection either with a written response addressing the creditors concerns and providing evidence to the court that the creditor is wrong and its objection should be overruled or to amend the Chapter 13 plan to fix whatever the creditor has a problem with. Any response to the creditors objections should be in writing and filed with the court no later than 14 days before the confirmation hearing.
